Multirate Systems, Filter Banks, and Wavelets

The seminar is organized by the Signal Processing and Speech Communication Laboratory of Graz University of Technology. Students will work on a selected topic, create a self-study WWW document, and give an oral presentation in class during a 45 minute discussion session. Work in small groups of 2 students is strongly encouraged. The working language will be English.
This summer term's seminar is organized by Christian Vogel. We will discuss the theory of multirate systems and filter banks but we will also look at applied topics such as wavelets based compression standards.

Topics will be assigned in an introductory session.
Introductory session:
13.3. 2006, 16-18, Seminarroom INW/SPSC (HF01092)

Please register for the course in TUG online.
